Éire Associates Wins Ava Award for Maristhill – 40 Years of Living the Mission Together.

Billerica, MA (December 6, 2010) Éire Associates LLC., has won an Ava Award for it’s video production, Maristhill – 40 Years of Living the Mission Together. The video was produced for Covenant Health Systems, Maristhill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s 40th Anniversary Celebration.

“We’ve won several awards for in-house promotional productions, but this is our inaugural effort for a commercial client,” said producer/director Kevin O’Rourke.  This is the second award that this video has won, having previously won a MarCom Award. “We are happy for our client Maristhill, but just as important, this demonstrates that our peers respect our work,” said O’Rourke.

The video presentation was the centerpiece for a gala event held at the Waltham Westin Hotel on Sunday, September 26, 2010. This video tells the story of Maristhill, it distinguishes it from other healthcare facilities and demonstrates that after 40 years Maristhill is still a relevant community partner in Waltham. “We designed the video so that it could be adapted from a presentation piece to a marketing-informational DVD and incorporated as a streaming video on to Maristhill’s web site,” said O’Rourke. In addition, the video was also telecast on Waltham’s local community access television station The Waltham Channel (WCAC).

The international Ava Awards recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, direction, shooting, and editing of audio-visual materials and programs. Ava Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and free-lance professionals. The Association administers recognition programs; provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession. AMCP also oversees the MarCom Awards and the Hermes Creative Awards, two of the largest competitions for marketing and communication professionals in the world.
